Wow! Again, its been a while since I wrote in here! well, I will do a speedy update lol..
Dolly's foals name is Vesper. I have 12 horses now lol, as I bought two more at an auction last weekend! hmm what else? lol..my mind isn't working right now! I had a great trip to BC! Life in general is pretty good, minus the shits that keep disturbing my business lol..but I do not pay attention to them..I know who I am, what I am...and what I do...I know what I'm capable of, and no one can tell me otherwise..I dont care if your the queen of England! haha! Anywhos..I'm going to do my bestest to add posts in here more often..I know I've said that many of times before!

What a beautiful little filly!! Black with a blaze! I haven't thought up a name for the lil sweetheart yet...but the right one will come along!
On another note...the show in Rimbey went pretty good! Check out my website for some pics! Cheerio n Avey did very well and managed to bring home some ribbons!

I Howdy all!
What an interesting past few weeks its been...I've been on a rollercoaster of emotions!! But I'm hanging on..and life is starting to settle down again finally...anywho lol
Horse show this weekend!! RIMBEY fair grounds....wanna come?? Starts on Saturday morning at 8:30AM...ends on Sunday night...lookin forward to spendin the weekend there...just me, 2 of my horses! hehe..

Hey there!
well, I've now got one horse here for training, and its sounding like I'll have about 3 more coming soon! I'm going to be BUSY!
Next show is on June 28-29th, lots of Gymkhanna! Cheerio is hopefully going to kick some butt lol...I'm actually thinkin of bringing Jamila along to this show, just for her to experience it! It'd be good for her...She's doin quite well with riding now, so far hasn't just stood there like a mule when I try n ride her anymore! haha!
Well, it looks like I'm off to go camping on Friday night! yipee! I love to camp! to bad its only till Sunday! Oh well...
Hmm, its gettin late and I should likely try to get some sleep.... the kitten and Jolie (hey, I don't have a name for my kitten....got any?) Are runnin all over my room and on my bed....ready to throw them out the door!

Back from the horse show (well yesterday =P )! Missy did really well, it being her first show as a 20 year old horse! Heart did pretty good with her jumping...didnt want to jump at first, but once she got going, she did really well!! And as for Mr. Cheerio! He did well in the gymkhanna... Flag picking - 2nd place, Pole Bending - 3rd, Barrel Racing - 4th... and 3rd place in high point! He's coming along really well!!!!
Anywhos...other than that I'm not up to much!...Going out with friends again for once! And hoping to get some horses in for some trianing soon...
Camp on July 14-18...GET REGISTERED!! LOL...

Wowzers I haven't posted anything on my live journal for a while!! Sorry! lol...if anyone cares?
Well, I have been working real hard lately, preparing everything for the horse camp I am having this weekend! The barn is all cleaned out from a winter of being pooped in lol, the paint is touched up so it looks real nice:) I'm in the middle of building an outdoor arena which is coming along! Just need to get the bobcat and spread the sand around! This weekends camp should be a lot of fun!
Oooo, and Friday is my 19th birthday lol...I think I'm going to go to DQ and buy myself an icecream cake hehe!
hmmm..here is something to ponder on..... have you ever known something and wanting to tell the whole world, but know you are better off keeping it to yourself? lol...I know I've had a few of them myself....but I can't tell you! lol...
Anyways, I'm going to go get some sleep here right away..and have some sweet sweet dreams:)

So here I am! Just finished eating some delicious pizza that I made (from scratch! ya thats right!) . I'm at my moms house...and I get to be here for about 2 weeks...house sitting! She has 4 dogs and 4 cats...so Jolie (my pup) and I are here looking after the place while my mother gets to cruise the CARRIBEAN!!!! NOT FAIR! lol. I have to get Cheerio and Avey over here if I can...I have a horse show coming up right away!!! Comin???

Hey Hey!
Well, I have been horsin' around a lot her lately! Gone all the way up to Grande Prairie to pick up two new horses...had a horse show with Cheerio that was a crap shoot to say that least...really not organized!!! Cheerio wouldn't jump, something wasn't quite right with him...turns out he has a tumour on his eye...going to the vet tomorrow to see what we can do for him!!
I now have two students that come out here for riding lessons every week, I enjoy teaching them what I know about horses and riding! I'm taking them along with myself to a horse show on the 26th of April at Still Meadows Ranch...I'm looking forward to it!! I'll let you know how it turns out! Yeah, thats what I said, NEW ARRIVALS...lol.
I'm now the proud owner of 4 new animals...I got another puppy!! I named her Jolie, she is purebred boarder collie *once you go boarder you never go back to anything else!* I got her from Terri! I'm getting another one in a few weeks that will be a FULL sibling to Cheyenne! =)
As for the other three animals...I have got 3 new horses comin! lol. Going to pick two of them up this weekend! The third won't be here for a little while yet. make sure you check out my official website! www.theloveofahorse.com Got all the info there too!

Howdy all!
Well, I was out working with Cheerio a little bit today, seeing how well he knows his leads, and flying lead changes...after working with him I decided that I should do a little work with Diego...so I went to catch him...found out that he was being a brat today lol. I chased him all over the place, it ended up getting everyone excited. So all the horses were running. I decided to stop and let them run till they were satisfied. They were running up to a long trough with bars that are about 5' that we have sittin in that pasture, Diego was cut off right before that trough..so instead of just stopping, he decided it would be a good idea to try and jump over it!! RETARD! lol..he'd of made it if he would have picked up his one front foot a little higher...well he didn't! His one foot got caught and he ended up on his back in the trough. So I had to roll him over. then he was stuck in the trough. Dad had to come out with the tractor and lift the one end and pull it over lol. We managed to get him out, but he had a bloody nose and some cuts on his legs...I had to go to work, so I wasn't able to give him much of a check up..will have to do that tomorrow!! But OWY that had to hurt! lol...

Hey all,
well I'm feeling a little bit better now...I still miss Cheyenne like crazy. I wake up at night to give her a pat on the head or to cuddle up with her, and she's not there. Seems like everywhere I go I get reminded of her...footprints in the snow, her toys in my room on the floor, her ball on the bed...Its really weird because sometimes I swear that I saw her in the corner of my eye. Its hard to all the sudden have your best friend and companion just ripped away from you. But, like my mom said just yesterday...maybe heaven isn't up above us...perhaps its all around us, and thats why we can still feel the presence of those that are gone even though they aren't really there. Does that make sense?? I woke up the day after Cheyennes death hoping that it was a dream, I honestly thought it had to have been as I had been dreaming about death that whole week before Cheyenne and Travis died...strange really. Well I am happy to say that we got in contact with the man I bought Cheyenne from, turns out that Cheyenne's mom is going to have another litter of puppies any day now. They have the same parents as Cheyenne did, I know that no dog will ever be like her, but I would love to have a full sibling to her. Thankfully, I get the privilage of having the pick of the litter. When the puppies are born, I get to go and pick whichever one I want, and when its old enough, I have another dog. But Cheyenne will always be in my heart!
Anywho, not to much is new with me....just the same old same...you know, when life decides to give you some rain, it usually pours, so I'm doin my best to keep my umbrella up above me.

Well now it is my turn to say that I say this with an extremely heavy heart...My wonderful little 6 month old puppy Cheyenne was sadly hit by the grain truck today, Dad was taking a load to town and she was chasing the truck...he couldn't see her in front of him and she was hit..she's gone to heaven now...but I can't help but not stop crying. I loved that dog so much, she was more like my child than dog. I'm feeling so lost right now...and I can't understand why this happened. Why something so young and faithful can just be taken away in an instant. I cannot type anymore right now as my eyes are blurred with the tears. All I can say is I love that dog..and I'll never forget her!

Hey there everyone that reads this! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a little while...seems that I have been caught up in a few things lately (school, work...warm weather hehe)
Well, I do have some terribly sad news to share.... On friday I was sent an email from my mother...the first words I read were "It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you this...." I knew that it couldn't be good. I kept on reading...found out the my 32 year old cousin Travis was found dead by his younger brother....Travis was a tae kwon do master. I remember when I used to go watch him, my uncle and my cousins (Travis's siblings) compete. Travis won lots of gold medals, he gave some to me that I still have! :)...I just wanted to share this tragedy with you all and I hope it is not to much to ask for some prayers and thoughts for Travis' family and friends. Thanks!

Hey everyone!
Well, I came home from staying at Brians this week...looked into my room and there was a box from the mail....went and tore open the box, and it was my supplies for my Equine medical kit! It was exciting! Anywho!
I'm going to go to Edmonton today and I am going to look at a saddle that I might buy for endurance racing! Plus I'm going to go to Before you ride, and Pegasus saddlery! wuhoo! Anywhos! I'm going to go for now!!!

Webster has been sold!! I sold Webster on thursday evening to a young man that lives a little ways from here. Got $300 for him...so I didn't to to bad. I know that I'm going to miss that dog! But I'd rather see him somewhere that he can be free to roam and run around then here where he had to be tied up or penned up. Sooo...Farewell my dear Webster!
My brother will be coming back home from New Castle on Wednesday!! I won't get to see him till Friday...but yeah..it'll be good to see him again, not even sure when the last time I saw him was!
Well, I spent about 2-3 hours online shopping this evening!! Got all the supplies I need for my Equine Science Horse First Aid Kit! Was lots of fun, and I got some killer deals, I know where I'll be buying a lot of my horse supplies from now! I'm currently still searching for an endurance saddle...found one that I might buy, but I'm not sure.... This summer I plan to be in a few Endurance Races... check this site out...it'll tell you about Endurance riding... www.enduranceridersofalberta.com
I'm entered in a few shows already!! First one is on February 9-10! I'm excited....my next one will be in March....anyone want to come and watch??? Let me know and I'll fill you in on the details of where and what time and such!!!

Well, here I am..back at the farm from a weekend away... Moms christmas was fun. I got a lot more glass for my stained glass projects! Today I plan on spending some time finding the best place for me to set up my "shop" so to speak that I can sit and work on it without having to move things and put them away....as weird as it sounds I was thinking about using the milkhouse...its outside...and its in a heated building haha. Brian had the idea that I could set up somewhere at grandma's house...thats not a bad idea! But...I know that when I'm working on projects I tend to get glass all over the place and I dont want her to have to keep her place tidy after me...lol I mean yes I'd clean up after myself..but ya..anyways...I'll figure something out!
Anyways, after stayin at moms for a while...I went over to Brians house...had fun just being lazy and not doing anything. Its really hard to be apart from him when he works 8 days and we live 100 miles apart! Oh well, I can be strong! hehe...
Worked on some school stuff today...did an assignment...now the only thing I have left to do this week is the health checks..but for that I need a stethoscope and a thermometer which I don't have! Anyone know where a person can get that? I thought about asking my vet whether or not he has some that I can borrow or some old ones I can have....

Beth really wants me to inform everyone that she wants to run away with me to my secret lair in the woods. Shes sitting next to me right now giving me that ' come and get me big boy 'look...
OK so that was Brian typing, now its me again. Not to much had been going on lately. Went to work on Thursday morning and right away had 5 kids to look after...watched them for about an hour then they were gone at about 10. I sat there till about 2 doing absolutely nothing...government jobs is about all I can say...get paid to sit around and do nothing.. mwah hahahaha!
I'm at moms this weekend, my Auntie Donna is here too! I only get to see her about once every year....so its a treat to be able to visit with her some again. Anyways, thats all for tonight, for some reason I'm quite tired and I think I'm going to call it a night!

Sooooo, I just called work and I am working tonight! I really hope this flu stays away now, cause I'm feeling quite a bit bettter! just sleepy! Hope that kids come for me to look after this evening, gets boring to sit there for hours without any work to do! ah well, eleven dollars an hour is good haha. anyway... I called another place thats looking for help yesterday! Working with horses, helping clean stalls, blanketing, feeding, etc. The lady says that eventually she'll start needing help with the training too... it'd be a nice job for me and I would enjoy it! I dont know if I am working there as of yet though, have to wait for her to call me back and let me know =) cross your fingers cause I kinda really want that job lol. and no worries, two small part time jobs, I can handle it! lol... School is going well for me! Pretty much already have this weeks assignments done! haha! Only thing I have left to do is be part of the disscussions throughout the week! I will be taking all six courses to get my certificate of Equine Sciences, so yea:) there you go. anyhows!
